It just takes a few minutes to get used to the new normal at this stylish mountain cottage. Apart from a few mules off to work in the morning, there’s no traffic. There’s no noise, just birdsong, rustling leaves.Being on a ridge, the wind suddenly picks up, almost on a whim. The mountain air is clean and crisp. The sun is strong, but in an instance it can play peekaboo with clouds and mist. The weather can turn in an instance. The views of the Great Himalayan Whites are just out of this world. Armed with good walking shoes and a jacket, one can stroll through winding trails, take unplanned diversions and walk through tiny villages. This is nature at its very best.
