Lyn Eden is a charming colonial cottage, built in 1900, offering an idyllic family getaway amidst the serene beauty of Mussoorie. Nestled near the famous Municipal Garden, the cottage is surrounded by an enchanting oak and pine forest, providing the perfect escape from the bustle of the town. Perched on a mountainside spur, Lyn Eden boasts a large, sun-drenched garden, ideal for families to enjoy leisurely afternoons basking in the warmth or gathering for a cozy barbecue.

It just takes a few minutes to get used to the new normal at this stylish mountain cottage. Apart from a few mules off to work in the morning, there’s no traffic. There’s no noise, just birdsong, rustling leaves.Being on a ridge, the wind suddenly picks up, almost on a whim. The mountain air is clean and crisp. Dating back to more than a century, JUNIA BAGH, the lakeside residence of the Thakurs of Junia, was built after 1890 during the reign of Thakur Kalyan Singh ji (Jodha) as a summer getaway for the royals. There are two Mahals built on the sprawling, green 8-acre property. The architecture of both Mahals is a mixture of colonial and Rajasthani style. Kalyan Mahal (Jal Mahal) is located on the banks of a perennial, artificial lake, while the Mahal Kesar Kothi is a residence which overlooks the lake and is built close to an ancient Bagh.
